Linda A. Firestone is a freelance writer and author of articles, essays, and books. Her writing career spans over 20 years during which time she has written for the Mayor of New York City, the UN Development Program, not for profit organizations, magazines, trade journals, acted as a ghost writer, grant writer and playwright.

She earned her Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies in the Arts, from New York University as well as a MFA in acting from New York University Tisch School of the Arts. She has taught at such prestigious schools as New York University, Long Island University, Lynn University and Nova Southeastern University.

She is President and founder of The Write Connections where she provides writing services for businesses and publishers. Linda is also the founder of The Women's Creative Connection, an organization dedicated to the professional and personal growth of women through creativity. Workshops and speakers programs are available. She is a member of Women in Communication, was the newsletter writer for Ft. Lauderdale National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) chapter for several years and writes a regular column for the Forum Publishing Group ( a division of the Tribune Co.) and for Balance Magazine.

Her new collection of short stories "Dancing with Gods:a collection of women's short stories" is available to order at all bookstores and can be purchased at all online book dealerships.
